Getting Started with PhlebCE

Find out what steps to take to begin completing courses. 

Welcome to PhlebCE! We're excited to help you complete your phlebotomy continuing education and stay on track for recertification.

Whether you're renewing your National certification, meeting your state requirements, or completing remedial training, PhlebCE provides flexible, P.A.C.E., ASCLS and CDPH accredited continuing education that you can complete from anywhere.

Getting Started

Follow these steps to begin learning:

1. Complete Your Student Profile

After signing in, navigate to Student Profile and complete your phlebotomy information.

Be sure to include:
  • Certification title
  • Certification number
  • Expiration date
Keeping your profile up to date helps ensure your records report correctly to .

2. Explore Your Courses

Depending on the package you purchased, your courses will be in different tabs in the menu on the left:

Unlimited membership- 

  • Full access to our Self-Paced Courses tab
  • Can filter library by completion status, type, length and level

Remedial Training-

  • 20 Pre-activated courses based on topics covered on certification exams

Advanced Skills-

  • Pre-activated courses based on a vairety of topics
  • Bundles vary from 3-5 hours of CEU's

3. Start Your First Course

Find a course you are interested in, or start at the top of your bundle. Click open to activate a course and begin watching the video or reading the article. Course progress will be tracked and can be reviewed in the progress bar. 


4. Complete Your Courses

Complete each course at your own pace. You can pause and resume course material as needed, even across multiple days. After completing the video or article, pass the required quizzes to earn continuing education credit and generate your certificate of completion. 

5. Download Your Certificates

After successfully completing a course, you'll find your certificates under Records & Certificates.
We recommend downloading copies for your personal records.
