Instructor FAQs and Troubleshooting
This guide covers common questions and issues instructors may encounter when managing their EMTprep group.
A Student Didn’t Receive Their Invite
- Check the Pending tab
- Resend the invitation
- Ask the student to check spam/junk folders
- If their email is typed incorrectly, revoke the invite then re-invite the student
I’m Getting an Error When Adding a Student
This usually means the student already has an EMTprep account.
Solution:
Contact support, info@emtprep.com, and we’ll manually add them to your group.
A Student Can’t Access Their Membership
Possible causes:
- They haven’t accepted the invite
- Their membership expired
- They logged into the wrong account
I Need to Revoke or Reassign a Membership
- Go to the Pending tab
- Revoke the invite
- The membership will return to your account
Student Progress Isn’t Showing
- Confirm the student has activated their account
- Ensure they are logging in under the correct email
- Allow time for activity to update, however this is usually fairly quick!
I Have Multiple Classes—How Should I Organize Them?
Use Classrooms to:
- Separate groups (EMT, Paramedic, etc.)
- Assign instructors
- Track performance by class
