What are the different types of quizzes on CMAreview?

Randomized, Targeted, TEI, Incorrect Answers and Focus Area quizzes. What are they? What are the differences?

Randomized quiz: Select this option to receive questions pulled at random from our entire question bank, giving you a a randomized review of different topics.

Targeted quiz: This quiz is personalized to help strengthen your weaker areas by focusing on topics where you’ve had more difficulty.

TEI quiz: The Technology Enhanced Items (TEI) quiz. These may ask you to select multiple correct answers or interact with questions in more dynamic ways, offering targeted practice with this question style. You will see these style of questions throughout other quizzes, but this one is only TEI questions.

Incorrect Answers Quiz: We track questions you’ve answered incorrectly, so you can easily review and retake them by selecting the ‘review’ button. This helps reinforce challenging material and gives you a chance to slow down and deepen your understanding.

Focus Area Quiz:  The CMAreview focus areas include: Introduction to Medical Assisting, Medical Specialties, Administrative Medical Assisting, Clinical Medical Assisting, Pharmacology, Clinical Laboratory, and Phlebotomy. You can choose to take a quiz in any specific category for a more concentrated review on that subject.
